Course Content

Week 1: Introduction & Safety First
### **Objectives:** - Introduce participants to the workshop environment - Emphasize safety procedures and proper attire - Familiarize students with basic tools and equipment ### **Safety Guidelines:** - Always wear safety gear (gloves, goggles) - Keep work area clean and organized - Report any unsafe conditions immediately - Never operate tools without supervision ### **Activities:** - Welcome speech and program overview - Tour of the workshop - Safety demonstration: proper attire, handling tools - Hands-on: Identify and handle basic tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers) - Quiz: Safety rules and tool identification ### **Materials Needed:** - Safety gear (gloves, goggles) - Basic hand tools - Safety posters and handouts - Workshop tour checklist ---

## **Week 2: Understanding Vehicle Basics**
- Components of a vehicle (engine, transmission, brakes, etc.) - How vehicles work - Hands-on: Identifying parts on a vehicle

Week 3: Engine Fundamentals
- How an engine works - Basic maintenance: checking oil, coolant, and fluids - Hands-on: Checking and topping up fluids
